Wow - awsome idea !

I dismissed it eariler today since the fuel tanks are empty. But the factory should have been producing fuel as one of it's standard products. So, perhaps.

Not sure if Lander 1 was designed for reuse or if the probes would be able to communicate with the lander (orbiter) due to distance. I will ask Dr. D and others.

Sure would be unfortunate if it blew up or crashed. A full fuel tank would pack quite a punch and take out our transmitter for sure. But if it worked, the transmitter would be safe for a long time.
