Perhaps I was misunderstood. My concern / warning is not specific to the current situation at the communications platform. What worries me is that ANY attack on the platform from ANY other party either ailen or from the MN's will shut us down. I feel certain that we DO (and always did) have the ability to anaylize, plan and act to maximize the opportunities which the probes have been (and will) encounter. If we do not take an active role, the probes will continue to try to call their own shots (and they are equivilent to 8 year olds?) It is our choice.

I was hoping we could start discussion now on ways to protect our transmitter to avoid another crises situation like we are now in. It will be a shame if we permanently loose contact with the probes just because the current group decides to take a sample of the antenna's coax cable.

A penny of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Let's start investing a few pennies.
