On a lower thread, I asked for opinions and evaluations of our stratigic positon.  I think Xanthos has identified the greatest risk to the safety of not just the probes, but the entire MarsDawn project:<p>"After all, if they are really hostile, they will destroy our com platform anyway and we will be cut off."<p>The question which I have not seen asked is how do we protect the communications platform?<p>T
