My one problem with this theory (and it's a good one, I'll grant you) is that we were initally told that the probes didn't have any concept of spoken language. So Daniel should have no concept that "u" and "you" sound alike, and would be interpreted by us in this way.  <p>I wish that I could go along with this--it would at least be a step toward understanding him.
