I agree with you. Let's have them proceed with an exploration of where they are. I think it will be helpful to determine if this station has a similar function to the one Bette found or serves a different purpose. (I vote for different, but I've been wrong before.)

It is my hope that Andrew and Enoch will find another set of viewing displays. Maybe we can determine how to alter the view point such that we can effect a search for Bette and Daniel without leaving the room. If what I suspect is correct then we should be able to view the entire planet to any level of detail. Once either missing probe is located, it should be a matter of reducing the magnification level until a familiar geographic area is identified. If nothing else, knowing the location should make the rest of the operation easier to manage.

I also suspect that there is a connecting passage between the platforms. It may be a maintenance tunnel, but having only one entrance to an underground location is asking for trouble no matter where you come from. That suggests Andrew and Enoch may be able to achieve a surprise entrance upon the ETs and gain the upper hand. Demonstrating such tactical skill, and then clearly acting in a non-aggressive posture may go a long way to making peace.

Questions:

1) What is the significance to there being 2 beanies?

2) Are there two controlling EBEs?

3) Are they on the same side? Are they on our side?

4) What do we tell Andrew and Enoch to do when the beanies decide to go in different directions (almost a sure thing)?

4a) Do they each follow one?
4b) If not, how do they choose which one?
4c) Should they choose to take another route altogether in that case?
