AC electricity (cycles per second) is an artifact of earthly power systems.  They are created for the specific purposes of the machinery we use.  Voltage or amperage has no real affect on the frequency of AC.<p>All that being said, however, the rocktalk may still be related to the metal/not metal sensors.
