That sounds like a good idea. Using Gail would also free Zachary of the "boring" work that he got stuck with before.
But I just thought of something: P&H are sending a "modified Stage 3". I am assuming that this will be additional probes. After all, how hard would it be for a truly determined corporation to recreate what Brace had done, especially if they had purchased all of Brace's designs and notes? They may have even brought in some of Brace's engineers and technicians. This would allow for speedy and efficient recreation of Brace's efforts.
Now, once the second team of probes arrives, might they expect the drones to be at their command? If so, we may want to again consider the idea of changing the drones command codes so that they are under "our" probes' control.
Of course, if the Modified Stage 3 is carrying human cargo that is self-reliant (not depending on a pre-fabricated base of operations), well, then that's a whole other kettle of fish.
