Possible. But would they send out a team on their own without relying on Brace's pathfinding and preparation? And WHY would they take Daniel? What would it accomplish, other than alerting B-B to their presence?
Hmmmm. Is it the Martians (or whatever the current denizens are called)? Their monitors and transportation systems are still active and Bette found complex organic cells, which means it is likely to have been habited recently.
