Yes that would reset the access codes ... but not dump memory that has been writer to disk. I would not like to see that done. I am not sure how the probes would act. that may make them like the robot that it was when it just came off the ship. I am not sure how they developed like they have but I thank that would put them back like a robot. And then the old codes that the probes had when shiped would be in place and that way the who has the codes would be in control.

I am glad they did not do it.. If they did we could have lost a probe.
