A good point Taz.
Maybe we should tell them the truth before we lose all legitimacy in their eyes. Young children really have a hard time with what they see as betrayal, and the probes have a similar mentality.
Course the flip side is that theymight just stop taking our advice all together.
But I don't see that as likely, because they have become dependent on us for communication. If we wanted to be heavy-handed we could threaten to cut them off, but that might have really serious repercussions.
Basically, I think we need to tell them.
