Andrew has stated, "... but then there is a click and shift, like a reboot. Data comes too fast, then it stops", and then in a subsequent transmission, "Metal/not metal is hard to describe. I do not reboot; the click/shift happens in the metal/not metal when it is touched, but it is the same after and before." Whatever the probes do to "taste" the object affects the object in a way the probes consider a click/shift and a reboot, but does not appear to actually change the composition or taste of the object. Mayber they are activating it. Hmmm, I wonder if "tasting" the monolith activates and/or inactivates the fan? Should we have Bette taste the monloith again to see if "it"comes back....
