I think the metal/not metal game is a good idea. It will give the probes something to do over the weekend. And along the way they can keep an "eye" out for Daniel and anything else unusual.
So far Enoch has encountered two metal/not metal objects. The first looks like a multicolored rectangle (and the colors apparently extend outside the visible). The second is the fan, which is not multicolored.
Andrew (I think) mentioned having encountered several metal/not metal objects during his explorations but did not elaborate. We should ask him where he saw those and what they looked like, as well as asking Gail, Bette, and Zachary whether they've encountered any other metal/not metal objects since they've also done some exploring.
