I posed the following "game" to all six of the probes (even Daniel). If nothing else, perhaps it will give them something to work on - a game to play, if you will. Perhaps we can glean some valuable info about what happened to Daniel.

Hello, Enoch. It is GrandZero. I have a game for both people and probes to play. It has partly to do with logic and reasoning and partly to do with searching and investigating. On the lander (communications platform) there are six pods which carried probes to Mars. According to Gail, all six ramps are deployed. According to Brace records, six probes were sent to Mars. Their names are Andrew, Bette, Gail, Daniel, Enoch, and Zachary. According to Brace records, that is also the order in which the probes were arranged in the pods. Gail says that Daniel was in the pod next to hers. Now there appear to be only 5 probes on Mars: Andrew, Bette, Enoch, Gail, and Zachary. Here is the challenge: What has become of Daniel? If you enjoy thinking games use your logic to pose suggestions. If you like action games, search and investigate to find clues as to Daniel's disposition. I am anxious to hear what all of us can come up with. Your friend...GrandZero

Perhaps another good game, especially for those who prefer action to puzzles, would be find the metal/not metal. Whoever finds the most articals of metal/not metal and sends back images wins. Even Enoch would have a chance if there are more items of metal/not metal in the cave.
