OK, how about a little wild speculation on what that object in Jose's cave could be. I have a few ideas but none of them are really any good. Anybody else have a guess or a clue? Andrew gave us a little bit of info today in his brief description of "metal/not metal".
* Sentry/Sensor - to monitor and analyze anyone entering the cave.
* Beacon - placed near the entrance to the cave to signal the location of the occupants.
* Warning Device - "Beware all who would enter here" or "No Trespassing".
* Hologram projector - supposed to project a holographic "cover" to the cave entrance; either inoperable or not detectable by probe scanning or "visual" image capture.
* Inoperative force field barrier generator - naaaaa...
