The probes run CLIPS. It is a NASA language created for this type of project... I is created in ANSI C then compiled and placed in rom. I see that Enoch said something about rules .. we need to be careful when talking about rules.. I am not sure how it will take it if we start talking about change's in rules? The AI language that the probes run is rule based..
