I'm not communicating with the probes myself just yet, for two reasons:
1: I'm going to be unavailable soon for a long time (they won't like that).
2: I'll give my suggestions to those who have established a
'relationship' with the probes. In the hope they will be more cooperative
to familiar people.
First of all we have to try to get Daniel operating.
If we can't, we should try to use his parts to repair Enogh.
If Daniel can be fixed, we have to try to give Enogh an extra leg
by using his 2 defective legs to create one new leg.
At least he'll have 5 instead of 4 legs then.
We need to find out what the damage to the communications array is
and if it can be repaired.
We (Snake?) need to develop strategies for the arrival of the next
bunch of probes who may be hostile to ours.
We need pictures and other data of:
The probes themselves.
The mysterious cave.
The communications array.
The terrain (landing area and tactical situation).
And as Zero said, the probes will have to work together if this
project is to be successful.
