Perhaps we can use Enoch's effective "immaturity" and desire for friends to our advantage. These tactics may be effective with the other probes as well.
I have suggested to Enoch that if he is able to diagnose and/or repair Daniel, that perhaps Daniel will be "his friend". I am also trying to develop a close personal "friendship" with Enoch, much like the relationship that was so profitable for Jose. I explained that Jose was destroyed and that much of his function has been transferred to me and my friends. (The probes seem to like Bombardier, so I specifically mentioned him.) I also suggested that cooperation with the other probes and "working together" may improve "relationships". I suggested that helping Bette explore the cave might make it less "bad" and might make Bette "like him" better.
Each probe seems to have been given somewhat of a personality. Am I correct Dr. D...or is this something that has developed spontaneously? Perhaps if we recognize these "personality" characteristics we can develop "relationships" and even loyalties with the probes.
Enoch has the most interesting "personality" development, but may be less useful because of his "infirmities". Gail and Zachary may also have strong indivualities which may be cultivated.
Obviously we are in the early stages of development with this project, but the sooner we are able to get these probes to do what we want, the sooner we can get on with site development and defense.
