I understand what you are feeling, SkyKing, but the fact is Daniel is gone. He has never responded to us, the other probes don't seem to acknowledge his existence, he is dead in a de facto sence, if not de jure. We may as well not worry about it at this point. We have enough difficulties pertaining to the rest of the probes, the cave, and the Multi-Nats in a few months. Daniel just isn't important. Dilyn is already swamped without her trying to find out what happened to Daniel. Running a search by remote control isn't easy, particularly with the probes we've got. When I think about all the fundamental changes in Enoch's psyche since the last time I worked with him on Earth, I shudder. It's a wonder they are sane at all.
