I learned about food when I was an Army brat and Dad was stationed in different parts of the world. The places changed, the ingredients changed, but I noticed one thing never changed: people like to get together and have something good to eat. That's the road to world peace, if you ask me.

When I retired from the military, I cooked at a coupla fancy restaurants and a lot of embassies. The embassy crowd is always needing somethin' special on short notice.

When I came to MarsDawn, the folks was eatin' cold pizza and takeout. It was a heartwrenchin' sight. They work funny hours, but they're good eaters.
