Grand Zero,

thank's for your nice salutation.

You are right - Italy is realy a nice country... but the part of Italy where I come from (GIARRE-East of Sizilia) is very poor. The Northitalian called us 'Polentoni' - that means something like a sponger - because the south of Italy is not as produktive as the North where all the Industrie of Italy has been lokated. The rate of unemployed persons under 25 is near by 50%. It's impossible to get a good job without connections to a member of the 'reigning over club' it's called Maffia.

How ever - the inhabitants are poor but they don't forget to enjoy the little sweets of life. I know that is something you can't buy in a shop - you must have this on one's person and it is priceless.

Now it is the harvesttime for the oranges and all over the fields you can see such the great color of the fruits - wonderful.

Send you a nice imagine ...

Sofia
