New Ipsolstai tunnel found by Isaac - Daniel fixed by Burn - Control codes sent - The C-probe is trapped

[Week 40]Though Bette hadn't been hurt by the rocket of the C-probe, half of Cave #3 collapsed. Isaac lost during the impact was found shocked. He detected a tunnel in the back in cave #3 [Week 41] and an airlock with glyphs, that opened by his shouting. -- Andrew and Zachary finally trapped the C-probe in a pit at the rough ground by executing a well prepared plan. Then Al-Q announced that nine Mobile Units have left the Chinese lander toward Olympus Mons ...

[Week 40]Daniel, who went with Gail into Jose's cave, [Week 41]was fixed by Burn. Since then he is talking even more cryptic. When leaving the fan started and Gail sensed something quite warm deep inside the cave ...

H&P have sent the control codes. Too little, too late, for except of one EU-probe, that is sticking in the EU-lander, all others are killed or have joined. Nevertheless, showing good will we've sent them two images in return. One of Jose's cave, the other of some glyphs, that had been found by our Probes in earlier days.

What are the Ipsolstai preparing in Jose's cave ?? How to proceed with the C-probe ?? Are the Mobile Units armed ??

FROM WEEK ZERO UP TO NOW [December 12th]

The Beginning of the Story ...
When we joined in, we met Enoch at the mouth of Jose's cave. We forced him to enter it. Then his transmissions failed. We sent Bette after him and placed Zachary as a relay station at the entrance of the cave. Exploring a far spread tunnel-system, with alien artifacts, facilities, glyphs and even a transport, Bette finally got caught by the Ipsolstai. It took all of Enoch's negotiation skill to get her released by his pleas after 75 days, but a bulb had been added to her CPU. She learned that in the meanwhile we've shifted our communications to a safe place and have built a Fortress and trenches with the help of six drones and twelve mining robots, which had been brought in by Stage 2.

Daniel's Recovery ...
Daniel was unable to transmit from the very beginning and so he got lost. When he showed up again, he had been totally controlled by the Ipsolstai. Daniel, now able to talk, reported that the Ipsolstai homeworld had been attacked by "Amphibians" and an Ipsolstai troop reached Mars via a wormhole, they name Groove. When Daniel asked to get off Ipsolstai's control, the MARSupials introduced their Probes as sentient beings. After verifying that by a test the Ipsolstai released Daniel. However Daniel didn't join the other Probe and remained roaming as a lonely wolf.

Dealing with the Ipsolstai ...
Celeb.s, a little Ipsolstai and Burn, whose life had been saved once by Zachary, mentioned that other Ipsolstai troops had been looking elsewhere for possible asylums. Fearing that the Amphibians may control the wormhole they sent Zachary through the Groove. By meeting other Ipsolstai on Saturn's moon Titan he brought back a message to the Ipsolstai on Mars, when a hot discussion raised. Then Burn visited the Fortress reporting that many Ipsolstai want to destroy the Probes. Burn left a device that functions as a translator and video link, so Zachary could watch a wild Ipso party, for their brothers had come from Titan. Drinking a lot of their sugar liquid all Ipsos got heavily drunk ...

A Warning by an Unknown Friend ...
A.S. - a former employee of Brace Control - had warned us, when a Japanese probe came in. He also announced six EU-probes of similar shape to ours. Next some Chinese probes will come, also not friendly minded. The J-probe landed, but was destroyed by the Ipsolstai, as it acted hostile.

The EU-Consortium ...
We knew about the EU-probes by Hardon and Parker of Brunel & Brauer Gmbh - the European Consortium - who claimed to own our Probes by having bought Brace Control, as they unnerved our Probes by their constant transmissions. Also two men of Brunel & Brauer had shown up in Dilyn's office, so she had to dive. The EU-probes landed hard, so H&P lost contact to them. Our Probes asked H&P for the command codes to get control of the EU-probes. Instead of that, H&P confronted our Probes with a binding contract. We sent as reply our last offer to cooperate. Next we asked for capitulation. Since then the transmissions of H&P had been more friendly. Lately H&P have sent the control codes. Too little, too late, but showing good will we've sent them two images in return. One of Jose's cave, the other of some glyphs, that had been found by our Probes in earlier days.

Fighting the EU-probes ...
When Andrew and two Ipsoltai reached the EU-landing site, the EU-probes opened fire. The Ipsolstai fled and Andrew left behind was captured. So Bette, Gail and Enoch attempted to rescue him in a battle. Andrew escaped, only to become lost again The EU-lander with an EU-probe, that still stuck inside, fell into a ravine, caused by an independent attack led by Daniel. In the fight the EU-Iota-probe, was taken prison and brought to the Fortress. When Gail found Andrew, he nearly had been destroyed by his own radiation leaking thermocouple. Then an EU-probe wanted to take spare parts of him and Gail killed it being in a rage . In the meanwhile Isaac, the former EU-Iota-probe, started to develop its independent AI. Bette accepted him as her charge and Andrew, reanimated by Enoch and Dr.D, showed him how to changed his command codes. Then Bette tried to trap the remaining three EU-probes in the tunnel system of the Fortress. In a wild chase Bette got seriously damaged, but was repaired by Enoch. One of the EU-probes blew up by it's own explosives, a second EU-probe was caught in a trap tunnel and the third one was found by Zachary locked between two rocks. It had been the Lambda Unit. Gail named her Lucy and brought her to the Fortress. Next the EU-probe in the trap tunnel was adopted as Theresa ...

Gail and Daniel Rejoin ...
Feeling bad about killing an EU-probe, Gail had been off for several weeks, now coming back with Daniel to rejoin the Probes in the Fortress, that had been expanded by a neighboring round, which had been found by Bette, as she drilled an escape tunnel. Doing so she also found vitrified rocks. Bette's communications had been melted in the fight against the EU-probes, so Daniel gave her his device till a better solution will be found, then he helped to replace Enochs broken legs and Gail asked Burn for a new transmitter. Daniel had also a better hand with Lucy than Zachary, so she ran after him, when he and Gail went over to Jose's cave to contact Burn. Picked up by Ipsolstai inside the cave, Daniel were in panic, but calmed down when Burn fixed him. Since then he is talking even more cryptic. The Chinese Lander ...
All this time a weak ping could be heard and Daniel detected a huge lander, which most likely is the announced Chinese lander. The ping and an echo of it had been also received by Al-Q who finally detected an orbiter and located a ground station and a mobile beacon. Andrew seeing a black cloud at the horizon found solid tracks and also Stage Two destroyed, while Bette and Isaac crossed the plain to explore cave #3. On their way over there they found hills with another cave north of the escarpment, while Andrew stumbled over an armed probe with rockets mounted on top. When Lucy ran toward it, she got killed. Zachary and Bette tried to ping pong the C-probe over the plain by attracting it's attention with their emergency beacons. It worked, but then Bette was attacked by one of its rockets. She wasn't hurt and could get out of reach, when she and Isaac entered a tunnel in cave #3 and passed an airlock with glyphs, that opened by Isaac's shouting. Andrew and Zachary finally trapped the C-probe in a pit at the rough ground by executing a well prepared plan. Then Al-Q announced that nine Mobile Units have left the Chinese lander toward Olympus Mons ...

What's going on with the Ipsolstai ?? Are Dilyn and others in danger ?? Do these Mobile Units coming carry arms ??
