1. If the money were equal (or no object) what would be your ideal career or job? Since the money has been no object since I started 14 years ago, my ideal job would be (and is) paramedic. I can't think of anything else I'd rather be or do. I'd just like to get puked on less.

2. What fictional character is most like you? C.D. Bales from Steve Martin's Roxanne. Or Cyrano de Bergerac (the basis for Bales). Popularity and friends were never a problem, it just took a long time to find someone who could look past my outside and see me.

3. If you could travel in time, where (or is it "when") would you go? This is easy...1941. I have always felt that I was born a generation too late. I wanted to grow up to be a WWII fighter pilot. When the Air Force recruiters called me while I was in high school, they got all excited when I expressed interest. Imagine my disappointment when they said they didn't fly Mustangs anymore (or, for that matter, Lightnings or Thunderbolts and the Hellcats and Corsairs were Navy planes, and they didn't fly those anymore either, ditto for Britain's Spitfire, Germany's FW-190, Japan's Zero-sen and Russia's Yak-9). Imagine their disappointment when I said, "Oh, ummm. Never mind then."

4. What do you consider to be the most significant news event in the last 5 years? The landing on Mars! Rove on, little Sojourner!

5. What is the best piece of music ever written or performed? The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis, 1974. Two albums, one story. Imagery beyond belief...it still staggers me.
