I don't know when you all are planning to have the grand fiesta, but maybe you could put it off until after the 22nd? After I defend, I'll probably have corrections to make to the dissertation and only three days in which to make them, get them approved, and turn in the official copy to the grad school, and the movers also come on the 22nd, so I'm not going to have much time for partying until that Saturday.
Of course, I suppose you all could party the whole week, with or without me. ;-)
