He is just as alien to them as they are to him, so his rash actions are probably quite startling to them.  I would think that, from the Ipsos' viewpoint, he is being locked up for the Ipsos' protection.<p>Your absence is excused, by the way.  There were some technical difficulties at MarsDawn that prevented the probes messages from being posted until afternoon (your time) on Friday.
