The day MarsDawn opened (March), it was known that the MN's were sending (probably hostile) missions to mars. This was brought up many times in conversations on Probe Discussion by staff. More details were provided by A.S. including increasingly clear indication of hostile intent. Yet, no effort has been extended to prepare for their arrivial. Learning the first will arrive in two weeks (less now) triggered the "oh shit" thread, but still no planning or action. Again I ask, how hard should the staff push to encourage some anaylisis, planning and preperation?

I agree with Taz's suggestion that a mix would be nice. I am sure the staff would be happy to step in and help carry out the plans of the MARSupials when your time does not permit in-depth interaction. The problem as I see it is that thus far, the staff has not detected any long term plans which we can carry out on your behalf - other than let's wait and see what's next.

Again, we (the staff) accecpt the blame for not being more clear in our expectations and look forward to implementing the changes to create the level of interactivity you (our audience) desire.
