If we are to approach the third level of interactivity described above (proactive), I think it is essential that we somehow attract new participants. Part of the recent problems in board activity has arisen from the fact that we have only a handfull of active participants. When two or three of us are on vacation or away on business all at once, interactivity will obviously be strained. At these times, as that whirling dervish so eloquently stated, it would seem that the staff would need to step and drive the discussin a bit.
F'rinstance, I like the way T-bird and Andrew have been giving us big cue-cards on what needs to be discussed. Now, we probably haven't taken the hints all that well, but that's the way you can guide the story when our participation is limited.
When we get more MARSupials these periods of limited participation will be covered by others much more easily.
OK, I'm off the soapbox now. Anybody else wanna' use it???
