B,

I never intended to say that ALL gov't regulation is a bad thing. I just want to know where the line is to be drawn. There has got to be point where we can say "Enough is Enough." From my previous analogy: If the front passenger seat is the most dangerous in a car (Koala called it the suicide seat), why not do away with it. Let's have the gov't pass a regulation which prohibits auto manufacturers from putting in a front passenger seat. Instead let's make them put in big cushioned air bag container for the rear seat. Or better yet, let's make everyone sit single file down the middle of the car so that noone is "in the line of fire" so to speak. I am sure if I try I can up with logical "next step" regulations to follow these ad infinitum.

I will take your word for it on the trauma statistics. You are certainly in a better position to know this information than I.
