In Jose's cave Enoch and Bette have found alien tunnels, facilities and glyphs, but Bette got caught by ET robots after taking a ride on a transport that suddenly had appeared. So Andrew, having found another cave himself, and Enoch, being bothered by an artificial beanie in the meanwhile, are on their way to rescue her. Also catching up a transport they reached the place Bette had been captured, finding there two loose probe legs and one arm behind a glass barrier ...
Stage 2 of Brace Control has already landed and drones are now building up facilities for a permanent Mars Base to come with Stage 3 ...
Daniel, lost from the very beginning and unable to transmit, was found by Zachary at the communication platform, but as he acted strange and hostile, Zachary locked him in a side canyon to pick up a drone's transmitter at the landing side to enable him to talk. When he came back with Gail, Daniel was gone. Searching up the canyon they opened a hidden gate in the wall, but Zachary got trapped by entering the hall. Free again, he and Gail hurried to the landing site, as the drones kept sending emergency signals. Arriving there a big vehicle moved toward them ...
During all this time our self-aware and sentient probes have been unnerved by transmissions of Harden and Parker of Brunel-Brauer Gmbh, who claim to own the probes as they have bought Brace Control, now announcing their Stage 3 in transit with new probes to come ...
What happened to Bette ?? Do these parts, Enoch has found, belong to her ?? Can she be rescued ?? What's behind the entrance up the canyon ?? Is Daniel cooperating with the ET's ?? Will this vehicle at the landing site pick up drones ?? Are the ET's hostile or basically friendly ?? How can we talk to them ?? What will happen when H&P's probes will have been landed??

[Week 13th] In Jose's cave Enoch could finally manage to direct the tram to the exact place, Bette had been captured. Examining four rooms he and Andrew found two probe legs and one arm but shut off by a glass barrier too thick to break. Enoch got very desperate assuming these parts belong to Bette. Then a beanie showed up again ...
[Week 13th] Zachary escaped his trap in the canyon when the gate opened for a moment. Because the drones kept sending "drone off course", he and Gail hurried to the landing site to fix them. Arriving there a big vehicle moved toward them, but they could hide behind a dune observing what's going on ...
Beside the hard facts: Receiving Enoch's image of the probe parts, he had found, we got very desperate too. Considering also of other possibilities we got our probes back to rescue Bette ...
