Hi, Grand Zero, it's nice to meetcha as well! If there's phantom power on the first mixer there should be a switch to turn it off and on. Turn the phantom power off and see if the mics still work. If they still work I vote for them being Hi-Z mics. Hang in there!<p>Uncle Bob<br>
