Thanx for all your help, gang. (And nice to meetcha, Uncle Bob)  Here is where I am.<p>I went back and checked the mics with the first system.  They all still work.  Looking over them, I think all the ones that didn't work may be condenser mics and require phantom power.  The mics that do work were either battery powered or dynamic mics.  The second mixer is a fairly old one and I think requires some extra tweeking for phantom power.  I'm gonna try this in the morning.  If it doesn't pan out I'll check the hi-Z / lo-Z thing.<p>I really appreciate all the help.  Y'all are lifesavers, and I don't mean the little holey candy.<p>---<p>Zero   <br>0=o
