Well, Zero, you're 1 for 2. You're right about the Elmer Fudd wefwence, er, reference. But you're very wrong about the hockey. Cincinnati has had a long association with hockey, since the 1940s when the Mohawks ruled the ice. We are home to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the International Hockey League, an independent team. And just yesterday it was announced that a new American Hockey League team is coming here next season. They will be the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks (formerly the Baltimore Bandits), the minor league affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks.
Also, having a subscription to The Hockey News, I am well aware of the playoff brackets and am fairly certain that Duck Season is very nearly over.
