Or you can do it like my wife and I did. Pay for it yourself (no, we don't have bags of money sitting around, we're just cheap and could find great deals by avoiding all things labelled "bridal" or "wedding"). That way, when somebody 'demands' something, you can tell them to pis...uh, I mean, you can tell them to mind their own business because it is YOUR wedding, not theirs. (If you're more politically minded, you can say, "Thank you for your input. We will most assuredly take your 'suggestions' under advisement.")
