I checked out that web address you put in one of your messages, and your directions led me to think that you were the one behind the board. Glad to meet you! Sounds like a cool job you've got there. Hope your leave is going well. I used to play on the weekends in a rock/blues band. We played anything we could learn that we thought people would like. I don't remember all the titles but there was a good bit of early Beatles, Stones, CCR. Mostly blues based stuff, but my education in the area of *real* blues music is a little lacking, I think. Still, we had fun and people seemed to like it. We got asked back to about half the places we played. That was pretty good for us. :-) Now I have a small 8-track (analog) studio in my living room, and record and write stuff. There's no money in it yet, but it's fun, that's why I do it.
What kind of equipment have you got there? I always love to talk about gear. You must get some pretty good bands through there. I'm listing to the radio now, and there has been some Texas Blues
on. Real good stuff. Hey, I've got an idea. Next time we have a virtual barbecue here at the Messhall, we ought to get a jam session going. What do you say? ;-)
