SUBJECT>What's with the funky timestamps? POSTER>Koala EMAIL>turtel@juno.com DATE>April 18, 1997 at 06:59:20 EMAILNOTICES>no PREVIOUS> NEXT> LINKNAME> LINKURL>

I have noticed that messages I post have a 4 hour, 13 minute offset from my local time. I am located on the East coast of the US and I believe the server is on the West coast. That accounts for a 3 hour difference. Even if we assume my clock is off by a few minutes (I'll accept up to 5) that still leaves a small mystery here. Any ideas?

My PC time is set by the network (Banyan VINES) when I login. I know the time service is not up to snuff and am willing to accept up to a 5 minute error. Is the Marsdawn server using a time service of any type?

Just call me curious...
