I moved this up so that it wouldn't get lost in the clutter. It is my opinion that for the most part, people are not against growth, as long as seniority/charter membership is protected. So my question is, how many charter members do we have? How many posters? How many lurkers? The roster might be useful here. Would the new members specify in their enlistment whether they want to be a lurker or a poster? How big are we, and how big do we want to be? Do we put an upper limit on the number of posters that would be accepted. I don't see anything wrong with having an unlimited number of lurkers, unless that would overwelm the server and significantly impact response time. Anyone know about that sort of thing, I don't. There are some issues that need to be worked out, but I for one want to stand up here and now and state that I fully support the efforts of SkyKing and the others to expand our site and make it one of the PREMIER sites on the WWW!

p.s. Who knows, if we get enough people involved, it might even become feasible to get t-shirts and hats. :~)
